Circustheater Art de la Rue
Circustheatre Art de la Rue is founded in March 2005 by Harm van der Laan and Andrea Souren. From January 1st 2008 the artistic staff was joined by Jasmijn Rubingh. In circustheatre (also called ‘new circus’ or ‘cirque nouveau’ the circus, traditionally a ‘low’ art, and high arts (dance and theatre amongst others) are integrated to create a layered art form. The combination of entertainment and intensification makes circustheatre of value to anyone. An art form as diverse as the people to walk the streets.
